Those interventions include full immunization of children, attending clinics during and after pregnancy, delivering your baby in a health facility, exclusive breastfeeding of infants below 6 months, washing of hands, knowledge of everyone HIV status and adhering to the treatment of all ailments. Those simple M- Health guides to be given over SMS by Mobile for good can reduce the death toll by 90%. The MAMA product we are popularizing has been prepared by joint collaboration of experts from :

The MAMA adaptable messages cover pregnancy , infancy and ages 1-3 . Those core messages cover a broad range of health topics found to impact maternal, neo natal and child survival, including nutrition, ante natal care , cord care, breastfeeding, immunizations and use of oral dehydration solution and zinc.
Those messages are provided in SMS format to be sent 3 times per week and an audio script to be sent once per week. They cover week 5-42 of pregnancy and week 0- 52 of baby's life( Pregnancy /baby messages) and years 1-3 ( child messages).
THE FUNDS WE SEEK IS TO ENROLL 500,000 WOMEN THROUGH PUBLIC HEALTH HOSPITALS FOR THIS SERVICE AND TO ADVERTISE THIS SERVICE HEAVILY IN THE PRINT MEDIA FOR ITS UPTAKE AMONGST WOMEN IN KENYA. EACH SMS WILL BE CHARGED AT KSH. 2 BUT IN THE LONG RUN THROUGH CORPORATE SPONSORSHIP IT WILL BE FREE TO ALL WOMEN.
